For our 50th release we are proud to present a compilation of unreleased tracks by artists who we've worked with over the years in a variety of contexts. From the earliest beginnings of the label we've hewed closely to our motto of "upholding the power of culture over the culture of power". This 2 hour, 22-track compilation reflects that work, presenting a diverse roster of artists from Portland and around the world operating in the field of contemporary electronic, ambient and indie music.
In light of the catastrophic explosions in Beirut a few days ago, all digital proceeds and all contributions above the $10 price of the cassette will be donated to Impact Lebanon, a nonprofit collecting funds for the relief and reconstruction efforts there.
Cassette edition of 100 (50 for sale to the public); enclosed in deluxe, recycled packaging letterpressed by Rx in Portland.
Mastered by Jason Powers except 14, 20 by Rafael Anton Irisarri, 4 by Timothy Stollenwerk, and 18 by Paul Dickow.

I was wrong with this album as I didn't buy it at my first listening...... it's as all other albums exactly what you can expect by r beny: beautiful ambient music with his unique style and composition.....great work Austin! 🤗 autark

Ambient synth sounds galore, all awash in delay and reverb and being manipulated in real time by a master at synthesis. The music here may be repeated phrases, but each repetition brings something new whether it's additional effects or filter cutoffs or resonance boosts. No beats necessary. Just float on clouds of square and sine waves and listen as the patterns form fragile, mutating melodies. Lionel Valdellon (Acid42)
A dazzling record heavily informed by Britpop, that recalls the sterling sounds of Catherine Wheel and The Cure, finally reissued. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2021
